Responsible Credit Conference London 2008 – 06 August 2008
Centre for Economic & Social Inclusion would like to advertise the forthcoming conference which takes place on 13th and 14th November in London and will bring together over 350 delegates from around the globe to jointly debate the principles for future responsible credit provision. Delegates will be drawn from consumer, financial services industry, regulatory, and policy networks and speakers will be nationally, and often internationally, renowned experts in their fields.
The Conference will proceed on the basis of open and constructive dialogue across all four networks and will provide an essential arena for concerns, proposed responses, and actions to be explained, shared, and understood.

Micro Grant Fund Second Round Opens – 10 July 2008
The 2nd round of the Community Lottery Micro Grant Fund is now accepting applications. Micro grants of £50 - £250 are available to small London based community groups and individuals wishing to develop a community based project or activity. Deadline for receipt of applications is Monday 21 July. The Micro Grant Fund is funded through the weekly £1 Community Lottery, operated by Community Money CIC, a non-profit micro finance company, dedicated to addressing the issues faced by the 2 in 5 London families living in poverty.
